On November 8, 2011, Tulare County Board of Supervisor's approved the Internet Auction through Bid4Assets (www.bid4assets.com) of tax-defaulted properties per Resolution 2011-0816, subject to the Power of Sale according to Chapter 7 of Part 6 of Division 1 of the California Revenue and Taxation Code to begin at 8:00 a.m. (Pacific Time) on March 15, 2012 through March 19, 2012, ending time to be staggered every 15 minutes starting at 10:00 a.m. on March 19, 2012.

Participants are required, at the time of registration online with Bid4Assets, to pay a $5,000 deposit, refundable for bidders in guaranteed funds (cash, United States postal money order, or bank-issued cashier’s check) in lawful money of the United States. Parcels will be sold to the highest bidder for guaranteed funds: (cash, United States postal money order, or bank-issued cashier’s check) in lawful money of the United States for not less than the minimum bid listed online.

The property owner’s right of redemption will cease on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. and properties not redeemed by that time will be offered for sale. If a parcel is not sold at auction, the property owner’s right of redemption will revive up to the date of the next scheduled auction. If properties are sold for an amount exceeding the minimum bid, parties of interest as defined by Revenue and Taxation Code §4675 will be notified of their right to claim excess proceeds.

The Tulare County Board of Supervisor's approved that any parcel that does not sell may be re-offered starting May 10, 2012 through May 14, 2012 (California Revenue and Taxation Code Section 3698.5 (c)) with a $5,000 refundable deposit for unsuccessful bidders (California Revenue and Taxation Code §3692 (e)).
