Qualified Employees of the County of Tulare If you are a regular or probationary employee of the County of Tulare assigned to work at least 40 hours a pay period you are probably eligible for these plans. Elected members of the Board of Supervisors and elected department heads are included. 	Qualified Retirees of the County of Tulare Retirees who as employees were participating in the benefits plan and retired directly from qualified active service with the County and who have maintained continuous membership in the benefit plan are eligible for specified health benefits.

	Qualified Dependents Qualified dependents include your spouse, registered domestic partner, and unmarried child(ren) under age 19 (up to age 25 if a full-time student enrolled in 12 units or more at an accredited institution).
